Tan A Dai Thanh Group wins the Asia-Pacific Quality Award

Tan A Dai Thanh Group has just been honored as one of four Vietnamese enterprises to win the 2019 GPEA Asia-Pacific Quality Award. The award ceremony will be held from October 14-16, 2019 in Bali, Indonesia on the 25th International Quality Conference.

The Asia-Pacific Quality Award (GPEA) is hosted by the Asia-Pacific Quality Organization (APQO). Review criteria are applied according to the criteria of the US National Quality Award (Malcolm Baldrige). The award is only awarded to organizations and businesses with leading business models in the Asia-Pacific region. Since the award was established in 2000, only 50 typical enterprises have been awarded. This year, Tan A Dai Thanh Group won the Best In Class Award for mass production.

To achieve this award, Tan A Dai Thanh Group had to pass strict criteria such as: Awarded the National Quality Gold Award within the last 2 years; Nominated by the General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality; must fully meet 7 rigorous criteria in assessing the role of leadership; strategic planning; customer and market oriented; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; human resource development. The assessment and scoring are done by Asia and world leading economic and technical experts.

As an enterprise operating in the field of household metalware, after more than 26 years of establishment and development, Tan A Dai Thanh Group has established and maintained its position as a leading enterprise specializing in providing a complete set of solutions for water in Vietnam. In 2018, Tan A Dai Thanh reaches the No. 1 market share of key products in the household metalware industry such as stainless steel tanks, plastic tanks, water heaters and solar water heaters, and Tan A Dai Thanh is also a one of the first private enterprises to be awarded the First Class Labor Medal by Vietnam government.

By the end of 2018 and in early 2019, the first containers of water heaters manufactured by Tan A Dai Thanh were exported to foreign countries, thereby demonstrating the prestige and position of Vietnamese manufacturing enterprises. Not long ago, Tan A Dai Thanh Group also attracted many major partners in The Big 5 Exhibition in Dubai when partners were interested and asked for cooperation to bring Tan A Dai Thanh products to the Middle East market. The UAE’s leading distributors expressed their surprise that Vietnamese products have competitive prices and quality compared to Japanese or European products.
